PODKRKONOŠÍ regionální produkt® is a brand for products from regiono Podkrkonoší, which guarantees in particular the origin of products in this region and their uniqueness resulting from relationship to this region (tradition, local ingredients, handicraft, etc.). The brand has been awarded since 2008 to craft products, food or agricultural products, which has sufficient quality and don’t harm wildlife and the environment. Branding of products from region Podkrkonoší has been introduced by LAG Podchlumí. Initiation of the branding of local products, which guarantees their origin in the region, is one of the way, how to promote production of the local producers. The brand is focused not only on tourists and visitors of the region, but also affects local residents.
