Local products from the microregion Górolsko Swoboda has been marked with a special logo of the brand GÓROLSKO SWOBODA regionální produkt® from October 2007. This brand means that the products have undergone a rigorous certification process that guarantees the customer the true origin of the microregion Górolsko Swoboda (near the city Jablunkov).

This region is located on the border of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia and became the first cross-border region with a regional brand in the framework of the system Home-made products. This area has its own dialect, specific culture, centuries-old traditions and tenacious people. Jablunkov on the Czech side, Čadca and Turzovka on the Slovak side and Ustroń, Wisla and Istebna on the Polish side are ranked among important cities and towns in the microregion.  The northern part of the protected landscape area Beskydy is included in the Czech part of the microregion Górolsko Swoboda.  

Brand is awarded by Polski Związek Kulturalno - Oświatowy (PZKO – LAG Jablunkov) to crafts, agricultural and natural products. Branding of local products is one of the ways how to combine a nature conservation with human management.  

The aim of the branding is to promote microregion Górolsko Swoboda and help local producers.
